Redtech is helping our client with a Contract to Hire search for a Full Stack Software Engineer.

Title – Senior Software Engineer (full stack).

Duration – The contract is a 6-month to hire

Location -   100% remote for duration of contract/Seattle area candidates only  When convert to FTE and back onsite in DT Seattle

JOB SUMMARY:

Software Development Engineer position within a development and support team. Team consists of business analysts, web and database developers, database administrators, and application administrators. This team manages a Student Information System (SIS), several Learning Management Systems (LMS), and dozens of classroom and operational systems with a range of responsibilities, including training, support, solution architecture, data integrations, minor and major customizations, and in-house custom applications (analysis, design, development, and testing).The following describes the responsibilities of the current development team. The ideal candidate would satisfy most of these needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a software development engineer or similar role.
  • Experience customizing and extending existing enterprise applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI toolkits and frameworks, and SQL.
  • Experience developing web applications and RESTful web services with C# and ASP.Net Core.
  • Experience designing solutions to business problems using domain and data models, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Familiar with web security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a software development engineer or similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical lead or similar role.
  • Experience designing and developing scheduled reports and extracts with SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), ASP.Net Core/C#, or other programming languages.
  • Familiar with ADA compliance standards (WCAG 2.0)
  • Familiar with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML)
